The Remastered Avatars Of TwitJesus: @Jack, @Biz, and @Ev

If you're reading this and you're one of these people, I'm sorry in advance.

If you're reading this and you're one of these people, I'm sorry in advance.

We all know TwitJesus.

The creators of our nerdy Twitter universe.

Jack, Biz, Ev.

Or as I like to call them, Bevackiz.

Since I’m hilariously unemployed and have a lot of time on my hands, I took their avatars and remastered them all by hand.

Much like Albrecht Dürer, the German renaissance painter, I deliver to my subject subtle poise and nobility.  I draw with my mind’s eye, each stroke a gentle gift of passion for my craft.

I hope you enjoy these works.

A collection I like to call Jack, Biz, Ev: TwitJesus At Rest.

To me, there isn’t a day where Twitter co-founder and Creative Director Biz Stone is alone.

Was his heart alone?

I felt it.

Did it yearn for more than just material success?

I felt his heart stir.

I felt the passion inside it.

And it’s that moment I tried to recreate here.

Digest this for a moment, friends.

You’ll feel it too.

As Twitter CEO Evan Williams looks forward, the world looks to his behind.

Where will he take this giant technological movement?

Nobody knows but him.

What does he see that we don’t see?

That’s what I wanted to show my viewer.

For a brief moment, as I held pen to paper, I saw his vision.

I saw what only Evan Williams saw.

So I drew it.

You don’t draw Jack Dorsey.

He uses your hand as an instrument to craft his essence.

That’s what happened here.  I wanted to show the strong posture and bold eyes of the creator of Twitter.

His varied voice.

All of these elements came together for me here.  I tried to plant the viewer inside the room with my subject.

I wanted you to see what his webcam didn’t see that night.

Follow me on Twitter for more of my work.  Also follow my subjects, JackBiz and Ev.

I want to thank them each for their support in this project.

Let me know what you think.

And if I’m mysteriously kicked off of Twitter for drawing too many boobs on things, you can find me on Friendster.

Trust me.

It’s Friendster.

I won’t be that hard to find.
